Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ReceiptVault AI ("the app"), provided by NYRAI LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
ReceiptVault AI is a receipt management application that allows you to:
- Scan paper receipts using your device camera
- Import digital receipts (PDF/image files)
- Record receipt details via voice
- Import bank and credit card statement PDFs
- Organize and track spending by vendor
- Search and review receipt history
- View line item details for each receipt
3. Account Registration
- You must create an account to use the app
- You must provide a valid email address
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Subscriptions & Payment
- ReceiptVault Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: $4.99/month or $39.99/year.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
5. User Data and Content
Your Data
- You retain ownership of all receipt data, images, and information you input into the app
- You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service
Accuracy
- The app uses OCR and voice recognition to extract data from receipts
- These automated processes may not always be 100% accurate
- You are responsible for reviewing and correcting extracted data before saving
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of automatically extracted receipt information
Prohibited Content
You agree not to upload or input content that violates any law or regulation, malicious files designed to harm the service, or content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app; use the app for any illegal purpose; interfere with or disrupt the service; attempt to bypass security measures; or use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the service.
7. Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference: https://receiptvault.nyrai.ai/privacy
8. Intellectual Property
- The app, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by NYRAI LLC
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app
- The ReceiptVault name and logo are proprietary to NYRAI LLC
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep the app available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.
10. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
- Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed
11. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of OCR or voice recognition results, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NYRAI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, or business opportunities; inaccurate receipt data extraction; or unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain security.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NYRAI LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
